Maintenance Mechanic || FT/Permanent || Portland, OR

Job Description: Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment to keep in good running order. Troubleshoot problems, recommend, and perform mechanical repairs to minimize downtime. Work collaboratively with Operations Team to share knowledge and contribute to a Continuous Improvement environment. How you will contribute: You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. Additional Job Description: More about this role Qualifications High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) At least 2 years manufacturing experience as a Maintenance Mechanic Ability to work any shift, weekends, and holidays as required Ability to work well in a team-based environment with limited supervision Able to learn and apply Continuous Improvement tools (IL6S) Capable of conveying information and training others in a professional manner all times. Share and provide information to the Operations Team during breakdowns and need it Ability to problem solve and help with practical solutions.
