Job Title: Enterprise Architect - P&C Location: Boston, MA Duration: Fulltime Job Description: The client seeks a visionary Chief Architect to shape and drive enterprise-wide technology architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering innovation. Reporting to the CDO, this leader will set architectural best practices and enable impactful technical outcomes for both internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership: Develop and maintain the architectural roadmap aligned with business goals. Establish principles, standards, and frameworks across the organization. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance operations. Solution Governance: Oversee robust, secure, and scalable solution designs. Ensure solutions meet business, compliance, and best practice needs. Lead architecture review boards for project consistency. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business leaders and clients to translate goals into technical needs. Advise senior leadership on tech investments and decisions. Build cross-functional partnerships and drive alignment. Innovation & Enablement: Drive adoption of AI, cloud, data analytics, etc., and modernize legacy systems. Establish continuous improvement frameworks. Deliver market-ready, revenue-driving solutions. Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing architecture team. Champion knowledge-sharing in areas like GenAI and analytics. Promote a culture of innovation and technical excellence. Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure architectures meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards. Develop risk mitigation and business continuity strategies. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science (or related), advanced degree preferred. Experience: 15+ years in technology, 5+ years in senior leadership. Expertise in enterprise-scale system design; Insurance/Claims/PAS experience preferred. Strong background in financial services or insurance. Technical & Strategic Skills: Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud, microservices, APIs. Familiarity with AI/ML, modern data platforms, and frameworks. Ability to align tech strategy with business objectives. Leadership & Communication: Visionary, excellent strategist and problem-solver. Strong stakeholder management and communication. Inspires and guides teams in fast-paced settings.
