We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Technician to provide exceptional imaging services in a top-tier teaching hospital. Hourly Pay Rate: $68.33 Shift: 22:30 - 06:30, Sunday through Thursday, 8-hour shifts Start Date: March 9, 2026 Openings: 1 What You Will Do: Perform high-quality MRI scans across diverse modalities including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and musculoskeletal regions. Operate Siemens PACS systems efficiently while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Prepare and administer contrast media following strict safety protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis. Follow infection control and radiation safety standards diligently. Required Skills: Minimum 1 year of MRI experience, including abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, and musculoskeletal imaging. Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment and PACS systems. Certification: ARRT-R and BLS are mandatory. Active MRI license at start date. Clinical experience in adult acute care, ICU, ER/Trauma, and outpatient settings. Ability to perform specialized imaging procedures such as MRA, MRV, and post-processing techniques. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with advanced MRI techniques like diffusion imaging, perfusion, MIP, and MRP. Knowledge of peripheral magnetic resonance angiography. Additional certifications or training in advanced imaging procedures. Preferred Education and Experience: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with MRI specialty. At least one year of recent MRI experience in a fast-paced acute care or trauma setting. Other Requirements: Active license required at contract start. No travel or on-call requirements. Professional knowledge of infection control, contrast preparation, and radiation safety. Flexibility to accommodate schedule requests. Local candidates encouraged; no radius restrictions.
