Job Description Job Summary: Our client in Roseville, MI is seeking an entry level Sheet Metal Fabricator to measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate has experience working with various fabrication tools and machinery and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and fabrication equipment Operate machinery such as press brakes, shears, rollers, and saws Assemble and weld metal components as required Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines a band saw, Pneumatic 90 grinder, and a plasma torch. They would be cutting welds out of assemblies, cutting welds in half, grinding and polishing halves, acid etching halves Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related field Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with fabrication tools and shop equipment Basic welding knowledge (MIG/TIG preferred, depending on role) Strong attention to detail and measurements Ability to lift up to [weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Pay: $17.50-$25 DOEShift: 1st shiftAbout Cardinal StaffingAt Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
