Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Provide clinical leadership and support to the emergency department team during night shifts. Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and hospital protocols. Oversee triage, patient flow, and resource allocation to optimize department efficiency. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Monitor and ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives. Assist in onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff. Handle emergency situations effectively, maintaining a calm and organized approach to crisis management. Support the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives for enhanced patient outcomes. Candidate requirements Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required). Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required, American Heart Association). Nursing Certification in Emergency Nursing or relevant specialty (Required within 3-5 years of hire). Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing or clinical specialty. Prior leadership experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
