MASSAGE THERAPIST - CONTRACTED STAFF

Description Contracted Massage Therapist Hospice of the Heartland Flexible Hours - As Needed We are seeking a Contracted Massage Therapist to provide compassionate, therapeutic care to hospice patients. If you're a licensed massage therapist who is passionate about holistic care and supporting patients with dignity and compassion, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do: • Provide massage therapy to hospice patients based on individualized care plans and clinical indicators such as pain, dyspnea, circulation issues, muscle stiffness, or anxiety. • Accurately complete and submit required documentation, corrections, and record keeping. • Maintain communication with the Patient Care Coordinator regarding changes in patient condition, needs, or service delivery. • Massage therapy will be provided by a qualified massage therapist, in a therapeutic environment, to meet the physical, psychological, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients. • Massage therapy services are coordinated and supervised by the Hospice Patient Care Coordinator. The Patient Care Coordinator will address any questions or concerns that may arise during patient visits. Requirements What We're Looking For: • Massage Therapy License with the State of Iowa (Required) • Experience in palliative, hospice, or geriatric care preferred • Massage therapy services are provided under a contractual agreement with an outside individual/agency and in accordance with Hospice of the Heartland policies/regulations. • Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with clinical supervisors. • Prefer demonstrated competence in a medical setting for at least one year.
