We are looking to hire a Financial Analyst II to support the Hartford HealthCare system. What You’ll Do As a Financial Analyst II, you'll be a vital part of our Finance team,Providing supportto shape data-driven decisions across the organization. You'll work closely with operational and finance leaders, leveraging your analytical expertise to guide strategic initiatives and improve performance. Key ResponsibilitiesDrive Financial Insights: Analyze revenue trends, identify key drivers of financial variance (month-to-month, quarter-to-quarter, year-over-year), and provide actionable insights to leadership.Support Decision-Making:Develop/Analyze reports for Monitor monthly revenue and AR, Month End.Ensure Financial Integrity: Maintain and monitor month-end file submissions, reconcile subsystems with the general ledger, and ensure compliance with internal controls and deadlines.Enhance Performance Visibility: Capture and report on KPIs, including payment trends, denials, and operational performance, using tools likeKodiakRCA to pinpoint areas of improvement.Be a Go-To Resource: Provide data, reports, and financial expertise to internal stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor across departments.Lead with Collaboration: Partner with teams across the system, lead or contribute to special projects, and bring innovative solutions to complex challenges.Invest in Your Growth: Take charge of your professional development, continuously upgrading your skills through learning and mentorship opportunities. What Sets You ApartBA/BS degree Finance or Accounting preferred OR substituted by 10 years’ experience in analyzing in a health care backgroundProven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and variance analysisKnowledge of PeopleSoft 9.2 General Ledger system a positiveKodiak RCA Tool ExperienceKnowledge of EPIC patient accounting system a positiveProficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, Pivots, Tableau)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsSelf-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and improvement We take great care of careers.
