With approximately 175,000 team members and 25,000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Our commitment to serve the common good is delivered through the dedicated work of thousands of physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and staff; through clinical excellence delivered across a system of 140 hospitals and more than 2,200 care centers serving 24 states.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesWe are offering a $25K Sign-On Bonus AND up to $24K towards Student Loan Forgiveness for our eligible hires! $44/hr rate plus $10/hr Weekend Program Pay Assignments will require staff to float between any Radiology departments within Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East and Saint Joseph Jessamine MRI Technologist Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Obtains patient history and screening forms, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Responsible for maintaining patient record and files. Performs quality assurance on magnetic resonance scanner. Essential Key Job ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.Uses standard precautions, PPE, at all times.Maintains regulatory compliance and licensure for current position.Attends all CHI Saint Joseph Health required educational programs as well as all Learn modules.Contributes to the efficient operation and monitoring of the department and utilizes our resources efficiently.Demonstrates complete working knowledge of equipment within assigned area.Knowledge and performance of the Code of Conduct Standards.Other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsRequired Education for Staff Job LevelsGraduate of an accredited  school of Radiologic Technology Preferred Education or ExperiencePrevious experience in MRI preferred.Required Licensure and CertificationsMRAD:KY;RTR, or RTBD, or RTCT, or RTCV, or RTM, or RTN, or RTQM, or RTT, or RTVI, or RTVSBLS-CPRRTMR - within 12 monthsRequired Minimum Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesNone#RadTechNewGradImaging
