All delivered with a 100% performance test passage rate. Summary Objective Successfully complete pre-construction activities for modular Mechanical and Electrical solutions. Essential Functions Ability to create and sustain relationships between Stellar Energy and owners, architects, strategic partners. Network with client base to expand market awareness of Stellar Energy Manufacturing capabilities. Partner with customers to identify and define modular scope. Operate with absolute integrity. Properly selecting equipment and project materials based on client specifications for modular Chilled Water, Boiler, and Electrical Solutions (equipment training available). Define modular project scale based on optimum equipment layout and selections. Develop conceptual and detailed estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and solicit trade pricing. Read and interpret plans and specifications, and addenda. Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend bid meetings. Effectively communicate with engineering, project management, purchasing, manufacturing, and finance. Effectively prioritize efforts across multiple projects, delegating as needed. Responsible for pre-construction coordination, estimating, sales, design and preliminary engineering of modular projects. Facilitate project kickoff, properly communicating all cost, scope, schedule and contract requirements to project team. Routinely update estimating standards based on material costs and labor performance. May participate in internal quality audits. Work Environment This position operates out of a Manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel Anticipated up to 15% travel for this position. Some occasional local day travel may also be necessary. Occasional travel to customer job sites and conferences may be required. Required Education and Experience. Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering or management related discipline. 5 years of experience in construction industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and enterprise resource planning. Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the USA.
