Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Lead and manage the nursing staff within the Blood Cancer Unit, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and professional development. Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and patient satisfaction. Manage day-to-day unit operations, including resource allocation, equipment oversight, and supply chain management. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards for hematologic and oncologic care. Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, social workers, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in hematology or oncology, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) are required. Additional certification in Hematology Nursing or Advanced Oncology Nursing is highly desirable. Why work with us?
