Structural Engineer

Job Description Our client in Marietta, GA has an immediate opening for a Structural Engineer that has an interest in joining a small, but well established heavy industrial equipment design firm. The engineer will work on projects for Bulk Material Handling Conveyor Systems & Equipment. . Candidates will be expected to perform their own drawing work as well as engineering duties and project management. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or a junior engineer with an interest in bulk material handling equipment design. The role will offer the engineer an opportunity to work in all phases of the project from infancy to implementation. This engineer will learn pricing, project management, engineering, modeling, and start up. Job duties will also include layout of equipment and structures, and conveyor design is a large part of the role. All candidates will need to be proficient with AutoCAD. Experience with structural analysis and design methods in accordance with AISC is ideal. As well as experience with layout of equipment and structures. Any experience with FEA, Dynamic Analysis and Inventor is a plus. Required: Bachelor's degree in civil (structural focus) AutoCAD FEA knowledge Preferred: Advanced Education Inventor Industrial Equipment Experience 1-5 Years on the job experience. The Engineer will have a chance to come in and learn from the ground up their products and industry. They will be involved in all stages of product design from winning the bid, pricing, engineering/design, project management, and implementation of the final product. They will have a chance once they learn their designs to have their hand in every aspect of the process. They don't have Drafters/Designers to hand work over to the Engineer will do all the work involved in the project process.
