Prepare taxes for clients

Tax preparers provide free tax preparation assistance to Cuyahoga County taxpayers whose income is below $60,000. The service provided create a path from financial uncertainty to financial security for the over 10,000 people we serve every year. In order to ensure our tax services remain free and accessible, we are powered and operated with the help of volunteers like you. The returns we file are simple. Absolutely no experience or previous tax law knowledge is required. All of our volunteers can attend one of our free trainings to become officially IRS certified to prepare taxes for the VITA program. Once you’re ready to volunteer, just one hour of your time can give a family over $7,000 in credits and refunds. Qualifications: Must become IRS certificatied through free trainings Days and times needed: Weekdays - Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings Weekends - Mornings and Afternoons
