North Campus Surgery Center is hiring an Operating Room Charge Nurse!We are offering up to a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!Welcome to North Campus Surgery Center!North Campus Surgery Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Charge Nurse to join our team. As Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations.Operating Room Charge Nurse at North Campus Surgery CenterPosition requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.Position Responsibilities: Supervises the OR staff to provide a daily smooth flow of cases.Assists in coordination of daily case scheduling in the O.R. with other staff to ensure schedule will flow smoothly (O.R. & X-Ray).Prepares monthly call schedules.Prepare, coordinate and perform monthly O.R. staff meetings for all OR, radiology, and anesthesia techs.Communicate effectively with physicians to resolve issues and provide efficiency and smooth case flow.Orders instruments and equipment for cases.Coordinate inventory quarterly in all areas of the ORAssists with OR education by coordinating and/or giving in-services.Prepare schedules in the afternoon for next day. Qualifications: Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.Baccalaureate degree preferred or work related experience.Three (3) years experience in surgery.Current Missouri RN LicenseBLS, ACLS and PALS requiredCNOR preferredIndependent decision making skills.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors.
