The Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society invites you to join our team and contribute to preserving Michigan’s role in the defense of democracy. In just ten years, our museum has grown significantly in attendance, volunteers, and collections — and now we’re ready to take the next step in professional collections management and exhibition development. We’re seeking a motivated individual to: Work hands-on with our new collections catalog database Evaluate and organize artifacts within our growing collection Assist in the development of new temporary and permanent exhibits This opportunity offers valuable, practical experience in collections management, exhibition planning, and museum operations within a small but dynamic institution. You’ll work directly with museum leadership and see your efforts make a visible difference. Ideal for: Museum studies students seeking practicum hours, portfolio projects, or hands-on experience in a real museum setting.
