2nd Shift CNC Machinist

A growing electronics manufacturer, is looking for a dynamic Machinist to join their team. Qualified candidates will be self-directed and quality minded.$2 4 - 30 per hour , plus $2 shift differential - Monday - Thursday 1pm to 1 1 :30pmQualified individuals will possess the following skills:Associates degree or completion of an apprenticeship in Machine/Tool and Die TechnologyAbility to run and set up both conventional and program CNC equipment3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESStudies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerance of finished workpiece, the sequence of operations, and setup requirements.Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining.Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, and drill presses.Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
