Are you a hands-on HR professional who enjoys partnering closely with leaders and being a trusted resource on-site? We're working with a manufacturing organization in York, PA that is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is highly visible and plays a key part in supporting both day-to-day HR needs and broader people initiatives across the business. As the Human Resources Business Partner, you'll serve as the primary HR point of contact for site and divisional leadership, acting as a strategic advisor while remaining closely connected to employees and managers on the floor. This is a true partner role-supporting leaders through workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and organizational change, while helping drive engagement, retention, and consistency in HR practices. This position is well-suited for someone who builds trust easily, communicates clearly, and is comfortable guiding leaders through processes rather than simply enforcing policies. Human Resources Business Partner Perks: Contract-to-hire opportunity Salary range of $100,000-$110,000, with flexibility based on experience Hybrid flexibility: approximately four days onsite and one remote day per week Highly collaborative environment with strong leadership partnership Human Resources Business Partner Responsibilities: Serve as the primary HR contact for site and divisional leadership Partner with managers across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, development, and employee relations Support workforce planning, merit and bonus processes, and talent development initiatives Implement and support HR programs and initiatives aligned with broader organizational goals Collaborate with recruiting, HR service teams, and centers of excellence to ensure smooth and consistent HR support Coach leaders through HR processes, accountability, and best practices Leverage HR data and insights to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement Support change management efforts and help leaders close the loop on employee and organizational needs Human Resources Business Partner Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or operational environments Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and leader coaching Experience partnering with mid-level to senior leaders as a trusted advisor Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution If you're looking for an HR Business Partner role where you can truly be embedded in the business and make an impact, this is a great opportunity to step into a trusted organization!
