We are currently accepting applications for a Proposal Engineer The right candidate for the Proposal Engineering role will have extensive knowledge of CNC machining and cutting tools. This person will also have excellent communication skills, as they will work directly with customers to quote individual tools and packages/projects. Primary Responsibilities include: Accurate quoting of individual tools and tooling packages to our customers. This includes but is not limited to, working under broad company policies and guidelines to execute detailed phases of engineering projects including pricing, proposal, design, production and customer acceptance Skills/Qualifications: Knowledge of machine cutting tool fundamentals, applications, and cutting tool technologies Knowledge of ICTC products and the practical application of those products. Ability to analyze data, apply knowledge and promote metal cutting solutions in the marketplace for ICTC tools Ability to effectively communicate on various levels of the organization (internal and external) including emails, formal reports, individual and group presentations Literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. CAD and/or Creo experience preferred Must be flexible to travel to support customer programs as required Must be able to work hours as required to complete a task according to schedule BS degree preferred or minimum 2 years technical college coursework in engineering or related field. Relevant experience in multi-disciplined skills such as sales, proposal, applications, manufacturing, NC programming, or engineering role within the metal removal industry. This is an on-site, full-time position that may require intermittent overtime based on workflow demands. The starting salary for this position is $62,000; higher compensation may be offered based on qualifications and experience.
