Physical Therapist Job Details Location: Harvey, IL (Flossmoor Outpatient Clinic) - Chicago metropolitan area Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/26/2026 - End: 4/27/2026) Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-hour shifts per week (08:00 - 17:00); some evenings required Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880 - $2020 Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics Daily Census: 50-60 patients Orientation: 8 hours Physical Therapist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (PT) Active Illinois PT license in good standing BLS certification required Experience in outpatient, acute care, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility settings preferred Familiarity with electronic charting systems preferred State or national PT certification/license required Ability to provide physical therapy for adults and geriatric populations Physical Therapist Responsibilities Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy treatments for orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions Deliver rehabilitation for diagnoses such as arthritis, joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, spinal surgeries, tendinopathies, sprains/strains, and more Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic charting systems Participate in block scheduling and adapt to evening shifts as needed Apply now to join our outpatient physical therapy team in Harvey, Illinois and take the next step in your healthcare career!
