Job Title: Sourcing Agent Location: Lexington, KY Schedule: Onsite for 2025 then Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 day WFH) Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 (some flexibility) Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision - 401k 6% automatic contribution from company & 100% match up to 4% on top - PTO 80 hours to start and after 5 years increases - 12 sick days on top - etc. What You'll Be Doing: Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives including spend analysis, benchmarking, and needs assessment. Conduct supplier selection processes using RFIs, RFPs, and data-driven evaluations. Develop and execute negotiation strategies in collaboration with Legal and Risk Management teams. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and market trends to inform sourcing decisions. Create and implement commodity-specific sourcing strategies focused on cost savings, supplier diversity, and performance. Build and maintain strong business partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with sourcing services. Manage full contract lifecycle activities including administration, amendments, change orders, releases, and closeouts. Ensure sourcing project timelines are met and adhere to procurement schedules. Leverage ERP and sourcing technology tools (preferably PeopleSoft) to streamline and optimize procurement processes. Identify, evaluate, and qualify new and existing suppliers. Reduce lead times through automation and high-volume transaction analysis. Assist in the development of annual supply chain budgets and provide contractual guidance to senior leadership. Resolve supplier performance issues, invoice discrepancies, and other related challenges. Perform additional sourcing-related duties and special projects as assigned. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Professional certification (CPSM or CSM) required within 4 years of hire. Minimum 5 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience; utility or A/E industry experience is highly desirable. ERP system experience required; PeopleSoft preferred. Strong negotiation skills and a solid foundation in economic and cost analysis. Working knowledge of procurement policies, bid processes, and contract law. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sourcing technologies. Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
