Pay: $70.00 - $72.00 per hour Job description: Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner – Correctional Health Location: Ohio (On-Site)Assignment Length: 6 months (with possible extension or temp-to-perm) Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) licensed in the state of Ohio to provide on-site primary care services within a correctional facility serving both male and female populations. This is a full-time assignment projected to last approximately 6 months, with the potential for extension or permanent placement based on ongoing need and mutual fit. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to incarcerated adult populationsConduct patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up careManage chronic conditions and acute medical needsPrescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulationsMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentationCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare and correctional staffEnsure compliance with facility policies, clinical guidelines, and applicable regulations Required Qualifications Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner licenseFamily Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) certificationMinimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in:Primary care and/orHospital medicineBoard Certification in applicable NP specialtyBLS/CPR certification (healthcare-provider level)DEA registration (required for the assignment)Authorized to work in the United States
