Rubber Seal Layup Operator (2nd shift)

SUMMARYThe Seal layup personnel will help with reading and understanding detailed instructions on how to run machinery that pertains to Rubber & or Fabric Seal Molding. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operation of jobs are assigned by the production scheduler and or molding foreman.1+ years with hand layup experienceHandles raw materials (silicones, adhesives, fabrics etc.) Assembling raw materials on to tooling. Understanding of how to read and comprehend work orders.Following work order instructionsDetailed hand manufacturing Notify their immediate supervisor of any excessive scrap and or problems with the jobs that they have been assigned.Input daily production data into ERP system Maintain production rates and efficiencies consistent with the company goals and requirements. Visual in process inspection to verify product and sign offMaintain proper part identification and traceability. Suggest process and manufacturing improvements when and if insufficiencies exist on opportunity improvements.Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
