THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a critical role in managing the financial planning and analysis functions of the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring availability of accurate financial data for informed decision-making. Conduct in-depth Variance Analysis. Undertake special financial studies and provide consultative support to various departments as requested by management. Develop and manage intricate financial models supporting decision-making on complex business matters, including valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews, providing actionable insights. Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets, presenting clear explanations to management. Collaborate closely with departments such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR, offering financial insights and recommendations. Utilize extensive datasets and multiple data sources, consolidating and analyzing data relevant to financial planning. QUALIFICATIONS We require a Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant Master's degree is advantageous. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and business modeling. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling is essential, and familiarity with tools like SQL and Tableau is a plus. Experience with Epicor is highly desirable. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, and the candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
