Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

DESIRED START DATE 12/29 OR 01/12 Must have OB, Mother/Baby and L&D 36 or 48 hours available • Call Requirement: None • Weekend Requirement: Every other • Additional Requirements: will work in all areas of LDRP; will float to the house as sitter when needed; will float to Bronson Methodist (27 miles) when the need exists and census allows. No RTO first 8 days of contract HOLIDAY RTO: Only one holiday request allowed and only one day OR one eve/day after not both (For example, only Thanksgiving Day not Thanksgiving Day and Eve or Day after, and only Christmas Eve OR Christmas Day allowed) Patient ratios - we follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing Will work every other weekend unless specified somewhere else. 15 bed LDRP unit with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms. RNs provide antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nurse, newborn nurse at delivery and couplet care. Our nurses perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns. Certifications Required: ACLS (AHA), BLS(AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM Preferred: AWHONN Advanced Skills Required: Circulate, FHM Triage Preferred: Scrub Minimum years of experience: 2 years Scrubs will be provided Weekend: Work every other weekend Float to the house at BBC as sitter, float to Bronson Methodist Hospital labor and delivery and mother baby as census and need arise. Equipment: EPIC documentation Will be trained to complete newborn infant hearing screens (ALGO 5 Machine used)
