Job Title : Technician Location : Huntsville, AL Contract : 12 Month Contract Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship Pay : $38.00/hr on W2!Job description: Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance. Support to the Redstone Arsenal STORM Project Office. Responsibilities will be maintaining and troubleshooting M270A1 and HIMARS Launchers. Testing ATACMS, GMLRS, HELLFIRE, and Javelin missiles. Responsibilities will also include writing final reports and SOPs. Basic Required Qualifications: Familiar with gasoline and diesel engines. Troubleshooting skills on vehicles. Familiar with Redstone Arsenal, AL operations. Familiar with engine and diesel engines.
