Local Truck Driver $1000 sign on bonus. Home Daily. Flexible schedule. No touch freight. Full and part-time options. Requirements • Must be 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL license • Minimum of 3 full months solo verifiable experience in the last 36 months. The 3 months experience must be with no more than two carriers and driver can have no preventable CMV accidents during the 3 months • For drivers with less than 6 months of experience, the driver can have no preventable CMV roadway accidents. • Must have a good MVR and background • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings • Must have a stable job history • Experience must be T/T. Trailers must be greater than 40 feet • Drivers CANNOT be under contract with another carrier • Must have personal transportation to and from the distribution center daily. Job Details • Freight: A mixture of dry and refrigerated no-touch, live unload grocery freight to store locations in VA, NC, MD, PA, and WV. • Shifts: Start times between noon and midnight, with weekends required. Work 5 days on, 2 days off, with more shifts available upon request. • Mileage: Drivers can expect to run approximately 1700 miles per week. • Schedule: Afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays; based on your schedule. • Home Time: Home Daily. Drivers will receive consistent home time with 48-hour resets (same two days off every week) • Paid 3 day orientation in PA. Travel, hotel room and all meals provided. Pay Structure • Average Weekly Pay: Drivers working 5 days on and 2 days off with 1600 miles per week can expect to earn approximately $1300 per week (after a 90-day ramp-up period with no attendance issues) • Industry-Leading Pay Package: Top-performing drivers can earn over $1500 per week. • Stop Pay: $20 per stop. • Support: Tenured 24/7 operations staff and shop support for drivers. • Part-Time Option: Part-time drivers can work 11-29 hours per week, with flexibility to choose shifts Friday through Sunday nights • Sign-On Bonus (SOB): $1000 total ($500 for the first load, $500 after 30 days of active seating). You must be an active driver at the time of bonus payout to be eligible. Experience-Based Pay • 0-6 Months: $0.56/mile • 6 Months-1 Year: $0.57/mile • 1-2 Years: $0.58/mile • 2-3 Years: $0.59/mile • 3-5 Years: $0.60/mile • 5-7 Years: $0.61/mile • 7-10 Years: $0.62/mile • 10+ Years: $0.63/mile Equipment • Slip-seat operation in newer-model day automatic day cabs. • Customer Service: Must prioritize safety, have exceptional customer service skills and handle customer concerns with patience. Benefits • 1 week of paid vacation after 1 year of service • 2 weeks after 2 years • 3 weeks after 7 years, accumulating up to 4 weeks at 10 years. • Full benefits in 30 days.
