Geotechnical Engineer

Position Overview We are seeking a licensed Geotechnical Professional Engineer (PE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, with 3-8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Work Prepare and write geotechnical engineering reports. Conduct geotechnical analyses, studies, and calculations. Review technical and construction observation reports prepared by junior engineers. Follow Company's Quality Assurance and Safety policies. Project and Client Management Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Interact and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Support business development through cost proposals and client presentations. Team Leadership Provide mentorship and guidance to lower-level geotechnical engineers. Qualifications Education: BS in Civil Engineering or MS in Geotechnical Engineering. Experience: 3-8 years in geotechnical engineering, including experience with: Foundations (shallow and deep) Pavement design (highways and roads) Geotechnical seismic design Retaining structures, slope stability, water treatment plants, and sewer systems. Licenses: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri, or ability to obtain licensure. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel; experience with engineering software a plus (e.g., gINT, SLOPE/W, LPile, Shaft). Soft Skills: Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities. Travel: Ability to travel as needed; valid driver's license required. Physical Requirements Ability to perform critical thinking and analysis. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30+ pounds. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and perform field visits as required.
