Role: Senior GCP Platform Management Lead / ArchitectLocation: Austin, TX 78758 (100% onsite)Experience Level: 12 to 18 Years maxJob Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior GCP Platform Lead / Architect to lead the design, implementation, support of scalable Data and AI Platform in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in supporting the management of Data Warehouse, Data Lake, AI/ML platforms in GCP. Strong process knowledge/practitioner experience in implementing Devops and SRE principles is required. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to engage customers effectively and collaborate across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead on Roadmap / Design / Build / Support of GCP data platform and provide thought leadership: Review the data platform architecture on GCP, using Data & AI services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Airflow and Vertex AI (example BQ Performance Management) Lead IAC design for provisioning, configuring, and managing underlying cloud infrastructure using Terraform Implementing SRE/Devops principles and Tools (example using tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Github etc.) Preparing and reporting support metrics (SLAs) to customer leadership Stay current with GCP services: stay up-to-date with new GCP features and best practices Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and act as escalation point for critical production issues Required Skills & Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in data platform management or related roles. Experience with Infrastructure as Code(IaC), Containerization and orchestration, Networking, Monitoring and Logging, IAM, Cost Management/ optimization, Security and Compliance Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in GCP.
