Physical Therapist Job Details Location: Point Pleasant, WV 25550 (West Virginia physical therapy jobs) Setting: Hospital-Based Outpatient Physical Therapy Assignment Type: Travel Physical Therapist Start Date: February 2, 2026 End Date: May 4, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour days (08:00 - 16:30), 5 shifts per week Hours per Week: 40 Average Patients per Day: 8 Orientation: 16 hours Estimated Weekly Salary: $2150 - $2310 Physical Therapist Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license in West Virginia or eligibility for licensure Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (PT) BLS certification (non-AHA certifications accepted) Experience with Meditech Expanse (preferred) Previous charge or lead PT experience (preferred) Community hospital or outpatient physical therapy experience (preferred) Ability to provide physical therapy care for adults and geriatrics in outpatient and swing/inpatient settings as needed Physical Therapist Responsibilities Deliver high-quality physical therapy care to outpatient and swing/inpatient patients Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment programs Document patient care using Meditech Expanse and ReDoc systems Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and adaptive devices in patient care Float to other units as needed, with comprehensive orientation provided Participate in holiday coverage rotation as part of the physical therapy team Experience the welcoming community and scenic beauty of Point Pleasant, WV while making a difference as a travel Physical Therapist.
