Lead IRB Coordinator

Job Summary: This is part time job (0.7 FTE - 56 hrs biweekly) but selected resource will be eligible for complete full-time benefits. Required to be on site at least one day per week. Responsibilities: Reports to the Director, Human Subject Protections (Director) and works closely with the IRB Coordinator I, Chair and members of the Institutional Review Board (IRB). Responsible for pre-review of items submitted for review by the IRB to confirm compliance with institutional, federal, and state policies. Communicates with research investigators and their staff in an effort to facilitate the protocol submission, review and approval process. Required Basic Qualifications: 4 year Bachelor's Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree. IRB Manager Experience Preferred. Post Approval Monitoring Experience Preferred. Broad Research Administration Experience Preferred. CIP certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
