Senior HR Manager (onsite) We are searching for an experienced Senior HR Manager (onsite) at our Indianapolis DC facility. Summary In the Senior HR Manager role, you will be responsible for all aspects of human resource functions in a growing multi shift Distribution Center. These functions include recruiting, employee relations, workers compensation management and safety, training and development, coaching and mentoring for a facility. Additional this individual will have project-based work that will support efforts across the DC network. This Senior Manager will foster a well-trained and motivated staff to follow facility procedures, policies and assure that we continue to provide excellent customer service to all of our partners. Some of the Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition by establishing strong relationships with your hiring managers and really understanding our business you will be able to recruit high level talent across the Distribution Center including other members of the management team, hourly warehouse workers and our seasonal/temporary employees as needed. Ensure each new Co-Owner employee has a meaningful onboarding experience from the job advertisement, interview process, new hire orientation, training and all milestones in the overall onboarding Performance Management, Learning and Career Development will be driven through this role. Performance management happens through a PeopleFirst mentality, some roles have Monthly Performance touch bases, some are continual with an Annual performance review. New hires receive formal feedback in the 40th and 80th day. This individual is the pivotal to ensuring the management team has the tools and resources to give both positive and constructive feedback, and working with team, to assess any gaps and create development plans. Policy and Compliance adherence is another area where this role is pivotal. This individual is responsible for ensuring we are both compliant with and consistent with our application of policy and regulations. This role will look for ways to improve our policies and procedures. They will actively manage all workers compensation, FMLA, and ADA cases. The will partner with operations to ensure we have a safety program that keep sour co-owners safe and in compliance. As with most onsite roles this person will be a true generalist in the aspect that the will wear many hats and be called upon to use their critical thinking skills to solve problems, determine new approaches, and interact across all levels of the organization. Required Qualifications: BS, BA, or equivalent 4 or more years of Human Resource Management experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated Critical Thinking Skills Knowledge of HRIS and time keeping systems. Flexibility to support a three shift operation, as needed.
