Physical Therapy Assistant- Home Health We're seeking a compassionate, patient-centered PTA to provide in-home care, exercise instruction, and education that support each patient's well-being. A brief overview of Responsibilities: Provides direct physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician's plan of care. Assists patients with therapeutic exercises, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and use of prosthetic or orthotic devices, while utilizing appropriate physical agents as needed. Monitors patient responses to treatment, reports changes in condition, ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations, and performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of a Physical Therapy assistant school Must be licensed or registered in Virginia. One year of home health experience PLUS!
