Job Title: Maintenance Repair Worker Location: Brooksville, FL 34604 Duration: 4 monthsIn-person interview Job Description: Performs miscellaneous independent manual labor incidental to job assignments with a basic level of complexity with direct supervision. Candidate responsibilities: Performs miscellaneous landscaping duties Miscellaneous outdoor window cleaning Perform and assist the Supervisor with manual labor on light repairs, light bulbs, flooring, carpentry, outdoor cleaning. Cleans and washes equipment. Other duties as assigned Work Environment: Outside yard and inside building maintenance Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 10hr/day --7am - 5:30pm, 30 min lunch Dress Code: Steel-toed boots are required. All other safety gear, supplies, and equipment will be provided by the Department. Driving Requirement: May drive a Kioti on grounds but not in roadway. Skills/Abilities: To maintain and repair minor equipment in the Brooksville Yard. To read and understand job-related materials and fill out reports and forms. To communicate both verbally and in writing, including following oral/written instructions. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with others. Be involved when vendors are called for repairs.' Lift, carry, and handle up to 50 pounds. Stoop, climb, squat, push, pull, crawl, or bend on a frequent basis. Work outdoors in various weather conditions, on various terrains and at various heights. Stand for an extended period of time. Equipment used: Operating a variety of hand and power tools. TV Lawn mowers Weed trimmers Pressure washers Skills: bility to speak and understand English Must be able to pass a level 1 background screening, which includes: 7 yr criminal, social security validation, sex offender check Must have 2 yrs experience performing yard maintenance, including power washing Must have 2 yrs experience performing building maintenance, including light plumbing Must have 2 yrs experience performing building maintenance, including painting Must be skilled using lawn mowers and weed trimmers Must be skilled using pressure washers Does candidate have a handy man license?
