EMPOWERING OURS TO EMPOWER YOURS State Tractor is looking for An Experienced Heavy Equipment Field Technician / Mechanic who is self-motivated, reliable and can represent State Tractor off-site and on-site professionally. Experience within the heavy equipment industry and those who can work flexible schedules for service calls. What are the Benefits? Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair heavy and light equipment and vehicles. Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts Perform required DOT inspections to ensure service truck is in proper, safe working order Tags out of service issues and informs Supervisor. Professional etiquette and Team player attitude Travel is required to assist customers. Ability to complete service calls efficiently and on time. Required: Mechanical Experience in the heavy equipment industry. Background clearance to travel to Railroads. Stable work history. Valid DL and ability to obtain Medical Card. Team player attitude.
