DescriptionAmazon Logistics aims to leverage optimization techniques and data analysis to innovate a last mile delivery network. Last Mile seeks a Supply Chain Manager, Capacity Planning to lead in the space of capacity planning across traditional and crowd sourced delivery service and sort models.Responsibilities: Leading end-to-end network initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Developing the network strategy for new initiatives Analyzing data on upstream connections using SQL, Tableau, and Excel Defining metrics to measure and monitor supply chain performance, inbound flows and transportation metrics Interacting with and influencing field operations leaders. Working with Research Scientists and Data Engineers to develop planning models to optimize for cost while meeting capacity needs. Working with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth of the business. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of program or project management experience 1+ years of supply chain experience Knowledge of SQL Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology Experience in MS Access and SQL Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document Experience in program or project management Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
