This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of guest satisfaction by ensuring all facilities and equipment are operating at optimal performance levels across our diverse property portfolio. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and Facilities Superintendent, with additional reporting responsibilities to department managers as needed for specific project requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfactionTroubleshoot and repair structural, electrical, plumbing, hot tub, and HVAC issuesPerform year-round grounds maintenance (i.e., mowing, trimming, mulching, snow removal)Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all timesCollaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectivelyRespond to guest maintenance issues and resolve issues in a timely mannerAny other tasks or responsibilities deemed necessary by management or ownershipJob Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong communication abilities with excellent customer service skillsProven problem-solving skills with a logical approach to maintenance challengesProactive attitude towards learning new skills and technologies related to maintenance tasksTask and efficiency-oriented approach with a strong work ethicKnowledge in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and water chemistryClean driving record and valid driver's licenseClean criminal backgroundPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and move up to 50 poundsCapable of standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periodsAble to work in various weather conditionsManual dexterity to use various tools and equipmentSchedule:Full-time & Part-time Positions AvailableRegular on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance (evenings, nights, and weekends)Must be able to respond to emergency maintenance calls within 30 minutes when on-callWeekend and holiday rotation requiredTypical schedule includes:Regular daytime shiftsRotating on-call duties with other maintenance team membersEmergency response as needed during on-call periodsWork EnvironmentPrimary work location at The Inn & Spa at Cedar FallsRegular visits to Hocking Hills Golf ClubOversight of off-site lodges and properties throughout the Hocking Hills regionCombination of indoor and outdoor work environments in varying weather conditionsCoverage area includes properties throughout the Hocking Hills regionVariable schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities for all property locationsAbout The Inn & Spa at Cedar FallsThe Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls is proud to be the only one-stop resort destination in the heart of the stunning Hocking Hills, offering over 40 luxury accommodations, two exceptional restaurants, a serene spa, a scenic golf course, and versatile retreat spaces.
