Business Analyst - Healthcare

Role: Business Analyst - Healthcare Location: St. Louis, MO (100% Remote) Max Rate: $62/hr.Role Description- IT Business Systems Analyst is needed for a team responsible for designing & developing NextGen solutions for Healthcare Insurance industry. The role requires to Design, build, test, and maintain enablers of business processes, including technology and process solutions with a focus on medium to high complexity, multiple large application business processes and/or business relationships Job Responsibilities- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders through design and implementation, including needs analysis and system requirements. Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Write documentation to describe systems requirements in detailed use cases and user stories. Write manuals for users to describe functionalities and features. Work independently, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on-schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem-solving skills. Interact with team members to determine best solutions Interact with product owners and end-users to understand business needs. Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers Mandatory Skills- 7+ years of related experience Experience with creating documentation, data/process analysis, and requirements gathering for the application development. Experience with Business Process Modeling tools Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. In Depth knowledge of Health plans, Claims life Cycle. In Depth knowledge of Government Plans like Medicare and Medicaid Experience in designing solutions for Health plans and supporting Product Owners for creating solutions. Experience in supporting the development team on User Stories and Testing teams on defects. Experience of working in Agile teams - Scrum/KANBAN Experience in scripting for RDBMS like Oracle/ MS SQL Experience of executing projects in Agile using continuous / continuous deployment Excellent communication skills and a degree of technical leadership skills. Preferred Skills not Mandatory- Experience with ITSM processes or tools in coordination with other IT processes and disciplines (e.g. software development, operations, infrastructure) Developer / Tester Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
