The 2026 salary range for this position is $15.00 to $22.51 per hour depending on experience. Applicants without relevant experience should expect to start at $17.50/hr. Essential Functions/Responsibilities Duties listed are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Position Duties Assist maintenance staff with various activities; including, but not limited to: making signs, flagging, patching, cleaning bridges, vegetation control, shop maintenance, etc. Assist Sign Technician in the replacement or installation of highway signs. Non-Essential FunctionsPerform job related duties as assigned or apparent. Minimum QualificationsRequired Certifications/LicensesMust be 18 years of age. Valid Minnesota driver’s license with proof of insurance. Physical Requirements Of This PositionDesk work involving use of a computer, telephone, and other devices. Communicate effectively with County staff and the public. Ability to read screens and documents. Ability to drive in various light and weather conditions. Ability to type and use a computer or mobile device. Lift and carry material weighing up to 50 pounds.
