Job Description Maintenance Technician Mon - Fri, 6A - 3:30 PM or Mon - Thurs, 11:30 AM - 11 PM or Mon - Thurs, 3:30 PM - 3 AM Pay depends on Experience Looking for a full-time Maintenance position with an established leader in their industry? Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech from manufacturing industry to conduct machine setup, troubleshooting equipment, repairs and preventive maintenance work. Candidates must complete maintenance & welding tests. Responsibilities will include: Perform safety inspection of hoist chains, forklifts, and all tools used to ensure safety Read & understand prints of machines and other items to identify & fix issues that arise Ensure operation of machinery & mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs & preventive maintenance work. Requirements: Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Able to read & understand prints of machines. Basic electrical knowledge. Have understanding of hydraulics & hydraulic schematics. Able to work day shift or split shift while training. Required written test on knowledge of maintenance and electrical & also welding test. Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently or on a team. Able to fabricate parts using a mill, lathe and/or welder. Willing & eager to learn. Good attendance & job tenure.
