Day to day networking task Configuring routers, switches, access points Monitoring infrastructure Logging into switches routers, firewalls to troubleshoot issues Assist end users and customers Troubleshooting network and device issues Rotating on-call - 1 Week on and 1 week off Other project/architecture/maintenance tasks as needed. Configuring network devices for store openings or replacements. Troubleshooting issues whether it be a store outage or an alert received via our alerting tools. Assisting the help desk when required due to a network issue The need to cover on call 24/7 every other week, Monday thru Sunday. Access via VPN to be able to investigate issues during off hours. Off hours duties may include engineer to be onsite in one of our buildings after hours.
