POSITION: Tutor Advocate (PT-Day and/or Evening) ASSIGNMENT: Family Education Outreach Program SITE/BUILDING: Roanoke House LOCATION: Riverhead, NY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide instructional support and advocacy for Spanish-speaking children of agricultural workers in school, virtually, and/or at home Communicate with parents, staff, and the Family Education Outreach Programs office Participate in staff meetings START DATE: Ongoing for the 2025-2026 school year SALARY: $24.00/hour Studies show that women and members of some groups are more likely to underestimate their qualifications for a position.
