Job Description Fire Sprinkler Designer / Estimator - Now Hiring We are partnering with a well-established and growing fire protection contractor seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer / Estimator to join their team. This is a high-impact role for someone who can both design systems and accurately estimate projects from bid through execution. Position Overview The Designer / Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed sprinkler system layouts and producing accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects. This individual will work closely with project managers, field teams, GCs, and AHJs to ensure projects are code-compliant, profitable, and executed efficiently. Key Responsibilities Design fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D Perform hydraulic calculations Complete material take-offs and labor estimates Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages Review blueprints, specs, and addendums Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors Assist PMs throughout project lifecycle Attend pre-bid and coordination meetings as needed Qualifications 3+ years experience in fire sprinkler design and/or estimating Proficiency in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or SprinkCAD Strong understanding of NFPA standards and local codes Ability to read and interpret construction drawings NICET certification (preferred) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance-based bonuses Full benefits package 401(k) with company match PTO + Paid Holidays Stable company with strong backlog and growth opportunities The fire protection industry continues to expand, and companies are aggressively hiring strong designer/estimators who can drive both accuracy and profitability.This is a rare opportunity for a high-level sprinkler professional ready to step into a true leadership role with significant authority and impact.
