Job Title: AWS ArchitectLocation: Columbus, OH ( Hybrid schedule onsite Tues - Thurs)Pay Range: $80-$85hrCandidates: US Citizens or GC HoldersDuration: 6mo contract to hireAs an AWS Architect, you will be part of the cloud engineering department supporting various development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative cloud solutions, which will align successfully with the organization.What's the Job? Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on AWS. Architect and deploy microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS). Collaborate with development teams to build backend services in Kotlin. Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability. What's Needed? 9+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS. Proven experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration. Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, ECS, Fargate, and Docker/Kubernetes. Proficiency in Kotlin for backend development (Spring Boot or Ktor preferred). Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices. What's in it for me?
