We have an immediate opening for an LCD Assembly Technician Level 1 at Precision Display Repairs (PDR) Camarillo, CA facility. JOB PURPOSE The technician performs visual inspections, functional tests, diagnoses, and repair of LCD (liquid crystal display) units. Job tasks include mechanical disassembly, repair, and re-assembly of defective displays using PDR's repair procedures, tooling and equipment. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Job Functions: Mechanical aptitude and hands on experience Ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instructions, procedures, and instructions Good vision and manual dexterity Good communication skills Ability to work well with others Experience in a deadline-oriented environment WORKING CONDITIONSPhysical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Work Location: PDR facility in Camarillo, CA. JOB SPECIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of information; ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction; ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and to project a positive image to the public; ability to work under supervision; ability to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances and priorities. Experience: At least 2+ years electronic assembly experience in Operations, Production or Service, or related field preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package.
