Database Developer (Oracle PL/SQL)

• 12 + years of proven experience designing, developing, and implementing data architectures on cloud platforms (preferably Azure) for a CRO or similar Life Sciences Company • Collaborate with clinical research, IT, and business stakeholders to understand data needs for clinical trials and CRO partnerships. • Design and develop a scalable and secure data architecture on Microsoft Azure, utilizing services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database. • Design and implement data governance policies and procedures for secure access and management of clinical trial data. • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (dimensional, relational, etc.) • Expertise in Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and scripting languages (e.g., T-SQL, Python) • Excellent understanding of data security principles and best practices • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Bicep • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
