Sanitation Tech

Ocean Beauty Seafoods' Dallas Distribution location is seeking a Sanitation Technician to support overnight sanitation operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all production equipment and plant areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for processing the next day. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Work overnight after production and order fulfillment teams have completed daily operations Dismantle, clean, and sanitize equipment according to Detailed Cleaning Procedures (DCP) SOPs Ensure all processing and production areas are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for morning operations Dispose of trash and waste properly according to material type Train and support new sanitation team members Communicate sanitation needs and equipment issues with the Quality Control (QC) Technician Safely operate forklifts after training and certification Follow all company safety, food safety, and sanitation policies Respond productively to changing priorities and perform additional duties as required REQUIREMENTS: Prior sanitation experience in a food processing or cold storage facility preferred Highly motivated, dependable, and able to work independently Ability to work overnight shifts Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and chemical safety Forklift experience or willingness to become certified BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, ADD, LTD 401(k) after 90 day probationary period Seafood discounts on employee purchases Free Parking Generous paid time off (PTO) Drug and background checks required.
