Regulatory Affairs Coordinator | Global Logistics & ComplianceLocation: Lakewood | Pay: $25.00 - $35.00/hr (DOE) Type: Full-Time Contract (3+ Months with potential for extension) For someone with more experience, this role could be remote or hybrid. Full-time onsite for someone with less experience. The Opportunity Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for environmental standards and international trade? Join our Lakewood-based distribution team as a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator. Your Key Responsibilities Regulatory Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring new legislation across NSW and New Zealand regarding chemical storage, transport, and manufacturing. Liaison & Partnership: Act as the primary point of contact for government authorities, industry bodies, and contractors to maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Documentation Excellence: Manage critical inward/outward shipment documentation, ensuring every product moves on time and in full compliance. Process Improvement: Audit and refine internal procedures to ensure they reflect current "best-in-class" compliant work practices. Environmental Stewardship: Manage Environmental Protection Licences (EPL) and lead the completion of annual compliance returns across multiple states. What You Bring to the Team Educational Foundation: A degree in Science, Law, or a related discipline. Experience managing Quarantine permits (AU/NZ) or Environmental Management Systems (EMS). Why Join Us? This isn't just a data entry role; it's a position of "Internal Consultant." You will be the expert the team turns to when navigating the complexities of international trade and environmental law. Ready to ensure our global operations stay on the right track? Apply today! Per Nick: The current workload has built up significantly and we're looking to get an extra set of hands to help work through the to-do list. I don't quite know how long this role would be for, maybe 3 months initially. Possibly another 3 if the person excels and is capable to take on more work. Possibility of turning fulltime but Nick does not want to overpromise. Individual will report to current Reg Affairs Coordinator Job description with more details attached in files. - What are the expected working hours? It's probably candidate specific; I've got flexibility. If we've got a person who really knows what they're doing, but wants to work from home between school pickups, I'd be completely amenable to that, because I'd know they wouldn't need a lot of assistance. However, if they're a year 1 or 2 paralegal, although competent, I'd imagine they'd need a lot more guidance to get through the learning period. - Regarding compensation, are you flexible to go above $35/hour for a candidate with the specific experience you need, or should we keep the range between $30-$35/hour? I'm open to pay for experience. Conversely, I'd start at $25/hr for a Jr Paralegal who doesn't know anything. It's quite a specialized roll, to add a bit of broadness, we could even look at a paralegal who could also do this work as I imagine they're a lot more prolific to find. Would like to see resumes the first week of February. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $35.00 Per Hour
