This role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a customer-first attitude. You will lead an Installation Assistant, ensure high-quality work, and deliver exceptional customer experiences on every job.?️ Job SummaryThe Lead Installation Technician is responsible for the full installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats, IAQ products, and related components. You will guide junior installers, communicate with customers, and ensure all work meets company standards, safety guidelines, and local codes.?️ Key ResponsibilitiesInstall residential HVAC systems per company standards and manufacturer specsDesign, fabricate, and install ductwork and fittingsPerform start-up, testing, and basic diagnosticsMaintain clean job sites and use floor protectionOversee and train Installation Assistants on proper installation practicesCommunicate professionally with customers and address questions or concernsComplete installation forms, checklists, and customer sign-offsMaintain organized tools, truck inventory, and ensure vehicle is in safe conditionFollow all safety procedures and attend required trainingProtect customer property and uphold company ethics and performance standards✔️ Qualifications3+ years of residential HVAC installation experienceKnowledge of HVAC equipment, duct design, and installation requirementsAbility to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manualsSkilled in electrical, refrigerant, and duct systemsStrong communication and customer service skillsValid driver"s license with clean driving recordAble to pass background check and drug screenEPA Certification required; NATE Certification preferredMust have appropriate hand and power tools? Physical RequirementsLift and carry up to 50 lbsWork in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areasAbility to climb ladders, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periodsWork in varying weather conditionsGood near, far, and peripheral vision (natural or corrected)?
