About Us The Donovan’s Venom is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. About the Event The Donovan’s Venom, INC. is partnering with the DeKalb County Government – Human Services Department for DeKalb County Human Services Day, a free community event designed to connect residents with vital social services, nonprofit organizations, and community resources. Date & Time: Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Location: Clarkston Community Center – Angora Hall, 3701 College Avenue, Clarkston, GA 30021What You’ll Do (Volunteer Responsibilities) Assist with event setup and breakdown Greet and guide community attendees Support vendors, nonprofits, and social service agencies during the event Help manage registration and check-in tables Provide general event support and problem-solving throughout the day Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible environment for all attendees What We’re Looking For (Volunteer Skills & Qualities) Experience volunteering at community events (preferred, not required) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Comfort interacting with diverse populations and community members Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed Why Volunteer?
