LOCATION: Stafford, VA (on-site)TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 10%CLEARANCE: SecretBENEFITS: 401K, Life/Health/ Dental/Disability Insurance, Flexible Paid Leave, and Tuition Reimbursement.STATUS: Immediate Hire Description:Sedulous is seeking a Mid-Level Logistics Analyst (Disposal Management) to support the Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) Program within Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA).This role focuses on divestment, phase-out planning, disposal management, sustainment logistics, and lifecycle support for legacy Marine Corps ground systems.The selected candidate will support government program teams in developing and executing strategies to safely retire equipment, manage Government Property, and ensure compliant disposal in accordance with DoD lifecycle management policies.Primary duties will include (but not limited to): Conduct analytical research to identify optimal divestment and disposal strategies for AAV systems and related Government PropertyCoordinate disposal and reutilization requirements with: DoD organizationsDefense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition ServicesForeign military programs and government stakeholders Support phase-out planning activities, including: Inventory verificationTechnical inspectionsProperty accountability validationLogistics database maintenance Maintain authoritative records in logistics and property management systemsAssist with development and updates to: Disposal schedulesBusiness modelsLifecycle phase-out planning documentation Support DEMIL requirement assessments, including: Reviewing DEMIL codesProviding cataloging recommendationsSupporting demilitarization planning Track configuration control documentation for USMC disposal actionsMonitor metrics for harvested or reutilized equipmentTrack financial execution related to disposal planningProvide spare parts depth recommendations required for sustainment until end-of-serviceParticipate in DMSMS Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and support annual plan updatesPrepare meeting minutes and progress documentation in accordance with contract reporting requirementsEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (Relevant military or DoD logistics experience may substitute for education)5+ years of DoD logistics, lifecycle management, or sustainment experience Demonstrated knowledge of:DoD lifecycle logistics processesGovernment Property accountabilityDisposal / reutilization proceduresDEMIL requirements Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs or Program Management OfficesAbility to analyze logistics data and develop actionable recommendations Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting USMC Systems Command programs (huge bonus for Sedulous work)Experience with ground vehicle sustainment programsFamiliarity with: DLA Disposition ServicesMarine Corps logistics systemsConfiguration management processesDMSMS programs Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Logistics certification (Level II / III or equivalent experience aligned with Advanced certification standards)Prior military logistics experience strongly desiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:This is primarily sedentary work requiring the ability to perform tasks involving: reaching, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, standing, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
