Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Campus Recreation and Intramurals Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Campus Recreation and Intramurals as a Facility Maintenance Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Summer or Fall 2026. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.This position is part of CRI's Spring Job Fair, February 23 - March 23, 2026. Responsibilities Performs daily and scheduled maintenance in conjunction with RAC indoor and outdoor facilities and on fitness and open recreation equipment Addresses and properly refers maintenance concerns to appropriate entities in a timely manner Sets up and takes down free play, program area equipment, and special events as needed Assists with moving soccer goals, bleachers, and other large equipment in and around MC Anderson park and occasionally across campus Drives to pick up supplies from local vendors and to University Park Shift Specifics Up to 25 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability Availability will determine Summer or Fall start date Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience Previous experience or knowledge of facility maintenance, recreational equipment maintenance, and construction maintenance Proposed Salary $9.00 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
